Famous American Designer, Oscar De La Renta, designed this lovely dress in the 1970's for Vogue. His collections link his natural talen with his firm belief in the inportance of tailoring and the mastery of every aspect of cutting, fitting and shaping.

The dress, in evening length, is a sleeveless dress, with a fitted bodice and wide shaped inset midriffwith a scoop elastic neckline with a self ruffle, and underskirt with purchased pre-gathered trim at the hemline.

Vintage Vogue Misses' Bridal Gown and Petticoat- Floor length dress with chapel train, or ankle length dress, has a standing collar, sheer yokes, fitted lined, shaped bodice, flared skirt with side front seams and pleated back, back button and loop closing, attached underskirt and full length sleeves with sleeve stiffening at cap and button and loops. View A - sheers only, shaped sleeves. View B - purchased trim. Petticoat, ankle length, has yokes, hem ruffle and back zipper.

Vogue 2953 by Designer Carol Horn

The lovely ensemble was designed by American Designer Carol Horn. THe high-fitted, slightly flared unlined jacket has a jewel neckline, three-quarter length kimono sleeves, ribbon and topstitch trim. Wide, straight-legged pants and A-line skirt have elasticized waistline, side front slit pockets and ribbon trim forming carrieres for self-tie belt. The loose-fitting blouse has a narrow, stand-up collar, front buttoned band closing, full length sleeves pleated into buttoned cuffs and edgestitch trim.

Vogue 1821:

This wonderful ensemble was designed for Vogue by American Designer Carol Horn. THe loose-fitting, unlined, three-quarter length jacket has a center front opening, shaped pointed collar, one-piece self lined yoke, patch pockets and full-length sleeves which may be rolled up to desired length.(note- wrong side of fabric will show) Topstitching. With or without self-tie belt holding in fullness at the waistline. Tapered pants with front tucked into the waistband have mock fly front zipper closing and pockets in the side seams. Flared, four-gore skirt, four inches below mid-knee, has elasticized waistline and pockets in the side seams. Purchased belt. Copyright Date: Not sure 70's

Button and Buttonhole trim. With or without ribbon bow. Purchased belts hold in fullness at waistline.

This lovely short or long bias back-wrapped dresswas designed by Belinda Bellville.  It is fitted and flared,  three inches below the mid-knee or can be made evening length, finished with a lined bodice, has a front cowl neckline, back v-neckline, extended shoulders, deep armholes and attached tie ends with Topstitching.
