Junior and Misses' Evening Dress in Two Lengths and Capelet: Dress has a lined bodice with boning at side seams. double shoulder straps, left side zipper closing, corded piping at waistline and full gathered skirt and underskirt. The ruffled capelet has lowered neckline (V-shaped in back) and has ribbon trim. V. 1 dress is floor length. V. 2 is street length and has a contrasting bodice. A ribbon belt and purchased flower may be worn.

This lovely suit is one-of-a kind.  I could not find another pattern like it on the web or any information on it.  The semi-fitted jacket has high-buttoned closing below the shaped collar.  Lond and below elbow length sleeves.  Slim skirt with pockets in side front seams has released hip bone darts.  Overblouse with round neck-line has zipper closing and short kimono sleeves.  Self bow at neck-line, optional.  Origianl Sew in tag is included.

How adorable is this.  This early 1950's sundress pattern is just the ticket for a lovely day outside!  I love the optional rick-rack trim.  The fitted bodice has an adorable sweetheart neckline and is gathered into a shaped stomacher.  The wide shoulder straps top off the bodice.  A four-gore skirt flows gracefully down from the bodice and large patch pockets are in the front. Don't let this one-of-a-kind pattern get away!
