Misses' Unlined Jacket, Skirt in Two Lengths and Pants:

The top-stitched unlined jacket softly gathered to waistband has front button closing, front band, forward shoulder seams, collar and long set-in sleeves gathered to armholes.  The mini-length or ankle-length skirt has top-stitched front pleats, waistband and back zipper closing.  The pants with front zipper closing have waistband, turn-back cuffs and optionally stitched creases.

Semi-fitted, A-line dress, below mid-knee or ankle-length, has jewel or V-neckline, princess seaming and back zipper closing:  sleeveless, short sleeves or full-length sleeves.  Self or contrast, semi-fitted, lined jacket has pointed convertible collar, princess seaming, topstitch trim: sleeveless, short or full-length sleeves.  Purchased scarf and belt.

Misses Jumpsuit and Jacket:

Semi-fitted, straight-legged sleeveless jumpsuit has shawl collar with front slit, front zipper closing and cutaway armholes with self bias bands. Self belt holds in fullness at waistline. Slightly flared cardigan jacket has front and neckline band, cutaway armholes and full-length sleeves.

 

 

Vogue 1821:

This wonderful ensemble was designed for Vogue by American Designer Carol Horn. THe loose-fitting, unlined, three-quarter length jacket has a center front opening, shaped pointed collar, one-piece self lined yoke, patch pockets and full-length sleeves which may be rolled up to desired length.(note- wrong side of fabric will show) Topstitching. With or without self-tie belt holding in fullness at the waistline. Tapered pants with front tucked into the waistband have mock fly front zipper closing and pockets in the side seams. Flared, four-gore skirt, four inches below mid-knee, has elasticized waistline and pockets in the side seams. Purchased belt. Copyright Date: Not sure 70's

Women's 1970's Vintage Sewing Pattern:

 

This semi-fitted, slightly flared dress, with length either two inches above the knee or mid-knee, has full length sleeves gathered into buttoned cuffs, inverted pleats in the skirt, princess seams, and self bias tie collar or jewel neckline. The semi-fitted jacket has a round neckline and top stitch trim and is sleeveless or wrist length sleeves.
