Anne Adams Mail Order Pattern 4761 - Copyright 1950's

 

How adorable is this.  This early 1950's sundress pattern is just the ticket for a lovely day outside!  I love the optional rick-rack trim.  The fitted bodice has an adorable sweetheart neckline and is gathered into a shaped stomacher.  The wide shoulder straps top off the bodice.  A four-gore skirt flows gracefully down from the bodice and large patch pockets are in the front. Don't let this one-of-a-kind pattern get away!

One piece dress with two skirts. This smart fashion is styled with a cowl neckline, short kimono sleeves and an empire waistline. (If you can piece the bodice..) View 1 gored skirt fits smoothly thru midriff, flares to the hemline. Slim skirt, view 2, has a vent at lower back edge for walking ease. Contrasting bias belt may be worn with this view.

Misses' Dress and Jacket and Sash:

Oh how lovely you will look in this adorable ensemble!  I LOVE it!

This "simple to make" sleeveless dress has a square neckline, back kick pleat and contrasting sash.  The short jacket has a round neckline, kimono sleeves and is lined to the edge.  View 1 jacket features purchased frog fasteners.

Simple to make skirts all have a waistband and are fitted with waistline darts.  Each skirt can be made from 1 yard or 54" of fabric.  View 1 features a side front kick pleat.  Skirt may be trimmed with top-stitching and buttons or novelty braid.  View 2 has slit openings at lower edge of side seams.

Misses' Blouse- This beautiful blouse is styled with the new larger collar and button front closing.  View 1 has long sleeves gathered into buttoned cuffs which fold back at the lower edge.  The upper edge of pockets button to the blouse.  Sleeveless version is shown in view 2.  Tucks detail each side of center front, view 3.  Three quarter length sleeves are gathered to Turn back cuffs.
