Semi-fitted A-line dress in above or mid-knee length, sleeveless or with short sleeves, has a jewel neckline and buttoned belt carriers, extending from the bodice front.  Topstitch trim.  Sold or bicolor. Purchased belts.

Semi-fitted A-line dress without side seams, slightly above the knee length, has banded jewel neckline, buttoned front band, pockets in side front seams and short or three-quarter length sleeves with buttoned bands.  Topstitch trim.  Purchased belt holding in fullness at waist is worn through front band. 

 

1970's. Molyneux - Miss Petite and Misses' Dress. Fitted A-line dress in mid-knee length has jewel neckline with front-button closing and center back zipper, self or contrast front inset, short or full length sleeves and topstitch trim. Purchased belt.
