The pajamas have pants with elastic waistline casing.  The top with patch pocket, collar, long set-in sleeves and sleeve bands has lace edging trim for girls.  The top may be made with front button closing or decorative snap fasteners.  The double breasted robe with optional front button closing and purchased appliques has notched collar, patch pockets, long set-in sleeves, top-stitching and tie belt thru self fabric carriers.  View 1 is regular length and View 2 is long length. The short kimono in views 1,2 and 4 or long kimono in Views 3,5 and 6 have matching booties.  Views 1, 2 and 6 with collar feature pinked edges.  Views 3,4 and 5 with bias bound neckline have stitched edges.  Views 1 and 2 with back opening and view 4 with front opening fasten at neck with button and thread loop.  Views 5  and 6 have front opening fastened with self ties.  View 3 with front opening fastens with looped embroidered stems and flower buttons.  View 1 has ladybug button trim.  View 2 has pocket and button trim.  All booties fasten with Velcro and have button trim.

This "simple to make" pattern by Simplicity features a unisex pattern, for both girls and boys:  The two patch pockets, a convertible neckline and short sleeves are features of the front buttoned beach coat. The brief shorts are styled with a flap pocket in back. Styles 1 and 3 have a small fly opening. This vintage boys pattern by Simplicity sews a handsome shirt with a collar, top-stitching and long set-in sleeves softly pleated into buttoned wristbands.  Long pants have a zipper fly front, elastic in the back waistband, suspenders and pockets in the side seams.  The lined vest has front button closing and welt trim. Lined jacket is collarless, has long set-in sleeves, front button closing and patch pockets.  Shirt has collar and short set-in sleeves, with front button closing.  Pants have suspenders, elasticized back waistline, and side closings, button fastened, front lapping over back.  View 1 pants are long with cuffs. Views 2 and 3 pants are short.  Views 1 and 2 shirt is contrasting fabric. View 3 jacket, pants and shirts are three fabrics.
