Dress has high round neckline finished with contrasting round collar, set-in sleeves with contrasting cuffs, inverted pleat at center front, is dart fitted at the waistline front and back and has center back zipper closing.  Views 1 and 2 have below elbow length sleeves and ribbon bow at neck edge.  Center front of view 1 features a bias tab and button trim.  In view 2 lace trimmed contrasting collar and cuffs are detachable.  View 3 has short sleeves, patch pockets and button trim.

This cute pattern is a "Teen Magazine" sewing pattern by Butterick. It consists of a loose-fitting, contrast reversible vest, has a collar, separating zipper and pockets with flap. The straight skirt above ankle or loose-fitting, tapered pants, have drawstring waist, mock fly zipper, side pockets, stitched hem and purchased cord stoppers. Skirt: front slit. Pants: pocket/flap, button trim, side front tucks and inside tabs(converts to shorts)

1950's Childrens Vintage Sewing Pattern: Advance 7853

The jumper is worn with a blouse. The top part is open at sides, has a "v" neckline with notched collar. The skirt has a unpressed box pleat on each side of the center front and center back with a side zipper closing. The skirt is finished with a waistband. The blouse has set-in sleeves gathered into buttoned cuffs . The blouse with short sleeves has a round collar and buttons in the front.  Copyright - 1956
